Shannon lives in Madill with her husband, Wesley, who is a machinist with MidAmerican Steel & Wire. Their son, Austin, is in the 11th grade at Madill High School this year. They run a small cow/calf operation and enjoy fishing, boating, and riding ATV's for fun. Shannon is a graduate of Kingston High School, Murray State College, and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She previously worked in the Oil and Gas industry as a Title Landman.
